SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team will continue its fall season this weekend when the Spartans travel to the Davidson Invitational Oct. 26-27.

The two-day event will be the fourth of five fall tournaments for the Spartans as they continue to prepare for the 2013 season this spring.

Upstate has seen plenty of success this fall, including last weekend at the Clemson Invitational where the Spartans captured a singles and doubles championship. Allison Beeler and Isabel von Stryk completed a title run in doubles play, while Julie Bell cruised to a singles crown.

The Spartans will look to continue their run of championships, having captured at least two titles in each of their first three tournaments this fall.

Results and recaps will be available at the conclusion of play each day. First serve of the tournament is slated for Friday morning.
