Women’s Tennis to Face Campbell, Charlotte

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team will begin a two-match weekend when they welcome former A-Sun foe Campbell to the Upstate Tennis Complex Friday at 2 p.m.
Following the battle with the Camels, the Spartans will travel north on I-85 to face Charlotte Saturday at 1 p.m.

• Upstate will face former A-Sun foe and current Big South member Campbell for the first time since CU left for the BSC. Upstate's match Saturday at Charlotte will be just the second time the Spartans have faced an A-10 school since the move to D-I.
• Isabel von Stryk owns a No. 1 Singles win percentage of .800 (4-1).
• Julie Bell earned A-Sun Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors (2/1) after picking up wins at both singles No. 2 and doubles No. 2 vs. Presbyterian College (1/28).
• Isabel von Stryk, Talia Rojas and Maria Tonani also picked up singles wins as the Spartans claimed four of six singles matches against the Blue Hose.
• Upstate claimed wins at doubles No. 1 (Talia Rojas/Isabel von Stryk) and No. 2 (Julie Bell/Ana-Sofia Camberos) to claim the doubles point vs. PC.
