Tuesday's Upstate-Appalachian State Softball Game Canceled

Spartanburg, S.C. – Due to heavy rain that is expected to fall later tonight and throughout the day tomorrow, the softball game between USC Upstate and Appalachian State scheduled for Tuesday at Cyrill Stadium has been canceled.

The coaching staffs for both teams are working on finding a date to reschedule the game and an announcement of a makeup date will be announced at a later time.

Rain caused havoc for last weekend's Coke Zero Spartan Classic at Upstate, causing all of Friday's games and two of Saturday's contests to be canceled. Upstate will play host to Furman in a non-conference doubleheader Wednesday afternoon starting at 2:30 at Cyrill Stadium.
