SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's basketball visited a local Chick-fil-A Tuesday evening to mingle with members of the community.
The Spartans spent a few hours taking photos with children, signing posters and distributing schedule cards. They also gave out Upstate basketball t-shirts and mini Chick-fil-A basketballs.
Upstate opens the 2012-13 basketball season Nov. 10 with a 7 p.m. contest at Purdue. The Spartans return to the Hodge Center for their home-opener after a four-game road swing, taking on St. Andrews Presbyterian Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.
