SPARTANBURG, S.C. – USC Upstate head women's Tennis coach Tim McLane has announced the singing of Roberta Armani out of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
"We're very excited to have Roberta joining us in the fall," McLane said. "She has an all-court game that is going to translate nicely to the college game. She's also a solid doubles player with a good amount of experience which will help our lineup. And she's a good student as well, which is always something we look for in our recruits. Roberta is going to be a great addition to our growing program here at USC Upstate and she has a bright future ahead of her."
A graduate of Colegio Anglo Americano, Armani currently has a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 7.91 in singles play and an 8.56 in doubles competition. Currently Armani is ranked 1011 in the International Tennis Federation Junior world rankings (ITF) and has reached as high as 765 in the world as of April 2019.
