Winston-Salem, N.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team was a perfect 4-0 Saturday on day two of the Wake Forest Invitational from the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.

Senior Isabel von Stryk turned in a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Clare Cox of Appalachian State in the A singles consolation bracket and will face Emilia Granstrom of Western Kentucky Sunday at 9 a.m.

Sophomore Anna Zoske defeated Taylor Zaytoun of NC State 6-4, 6-2 in the C singles consolation bracket to setup a matchup with Amanda Keller of Navy Sunday at 10 a.m.

Freshman Nona Ruppert earned a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Nadia Hilton of North Carolina A&T in the E singles consolation bracket. Ruppert next faces Lisa Grosselius of Charlotte Sunday at 10 a.m.

In doubles play, von Stryk and Zoske played their final match in the A consolation bracket and posted an 8-3 win over Dana Gray and Maria Storozheva of East Carolina.

"It was a great day for us today because all three of the girls played extremely well," USC Upstate head coach Oliver Trittenwein said. "It was great to see them earn victories over individuals from some of the bigger schools."
