Women’s Basketball Adds Kirkwood for 2018-19 Season

Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate head women's basketball coach Tammy George has announced the addition of Kathryn Kirkwood for the 2018-19 season. Kirkwood arrives in Spartanburg after playing scholastically for Harold S. Vincent High School in Milwaukee, Wis. 

"We are excited to have Kathryn join our basketball family," George stated. "Her size and versatility will be a great addition to our program." 

Kirkwood averaged 14.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game while playing for the Vikings. She earned Honorable Mention All-Area, First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Conference honors during her career. Kirkwood was a member of Vincent High School teams that claimed conference and regional championships. 

Kirkwood played for Playground Elite, Hangtime Elite and WBA Prestige club teams.
