Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate head women's basketball coach Tammy George has announced the addition of Brianna Lewis for the 2018-19 season. Lewis joins the Spartan family after playing at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Fla.
"We are excited to welcome Brianna to our basketball family," George stated. "We feel with her experience and ability to make others around her better, Brianna will be a great asset to the team."
In 2017-18, Lewis played in all 31 games and averaged a team-leading 35.7 minutes per game. Lewis was second on the team with 12.8 points per game and was second amongst all NJCAA players with 7.6 assists per game. She was named First Team All-Suncoast and finished in double figures scoring in 22 games. Lewis played in 18 games at Texas Southern during the 2016-17 campaign and attended William Fremd High School in Palatine, Ill.
