  • Auman Joins Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff

    Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate head women’s basketball coach Tammy George has announced the addition of Dylan Auman to the women’s basketball coaching staff. Auman joins the Spartan family after spending the 2017-18 season as a graduate assistant coach at Columbus State University.
  • Women’s Basketball Adds Kirkwood for 2018-19 Season

    Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate head women’s basketball coach Tammy George has announced the addition of Kathryn Kirkwood for the 2018-19 season. Kirkwood arrives in Spartanburg after playing scholastically for Harold S. Vincent High School in Milwaukee, Wis.

  • Starling Enjoys Breakout Second Season in Belgian Professional League

    Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate women's basketball alumnae Brittany Starling recently completed her second professional season playing for Kangoeroes Willebroek in the Belgian League. Starling played at USC Upstate from 2012-16 and was the third player in program history to sign a professional contract.

S.C. – On an afternoon where the USC Upstate women’s basketball team honored seniors A’Lexxus Davis and Brittney Delva, it was junior Tamera Thorpe who led the Spartans with a game-high 25 points as the Spartans defeated NJIT 74-67 at Eddie and Ann Payne Arena in the G.B. Hodge Center on Saturday afternoon.

    Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate junior DeNisha Swain set the Division I era single-game assist record with 12 but the Spartans were unable to hold off a hot-shooting Lipscomb squad in a 97-78 loss to the Lady Bisons on Thursday night at Allen Arena.
