"The one thing we asked of the guys going into today was just to go out and battle and not focus on things we couldn't control. For the most part, everyone did that and there were a few moments late in the match where we were almost able to turn things around. Ankush was able to pick up a nice win at No. 1, but I'm really happy with the way we competed today. We're hopefully getting a couple of guys back in the lineup this week so that should help out a lot with doubles and singles, and we'll be able to get some full team practices in around the next few matches." – Tim McLane, head coach

USC Upstate steps back into conference play on Wednesday, March 27 traveling to UNC Asheville for a 3 p.m. match.
