USC Upstate Competes at ITA Regionals

Cary, N.C. – The USC Upstate men's tennis team wrapped up competition last weekend at the ITA Regionals hosted by Duke at Cary Tennis Park.

USC Upstate had four student-athletes competing at the tournament in Ankush Arora, Fernando Bernardes, Luka Eble and Francisco Neto.

Neto faced Charlotte twice in singles play while Arora had matches against Clemson and East Carolina. Bernardes took on Clemson and Duke and Eble went up against UNC Wilmington and Elon.

In doubles play, the combinations consisted of Arora/Bernardes and Eble/Neto. Arora/Bernardes had two matches against North Carolina and N.C. State. Eble/Neto faced Charlotte and Clemson in their two matches.

The Spartans close out their fall season Nov. 2-4 at the Georgia Southern Championships in Statesboro, Ga.
