Spring 2012: Appeared in all 22 matches for the Spartans during his sophomore season… Posted a 12-8 mark in singles play and 5-15 record in doubles action… Spent most of the season at No. 4 singles where he put together an 8-3 record, including a 6-3 mark in A-Sun matches… Ended the year in style with six straight victories before an unfinished match in the second round of the A-Sun Tournament… Knocked off ETSU’s Jeremy Bonnevalle in a three set marathon affair on April 14, winning 2-6, 6-4, 10-8… Spent the majority of doubles action with Pierre Vernin where the duo posted a 4-7 record at the No. 2 slot and 1-1 record at No. 3 slot… Earned A-Sun Conference Scholar recognition.

Before USC Upstate: Played freshman campaign at Union College (Ky.)… Posted an 18-6 mark in singles action and finished 20-4 in doubles play. .. Was part of the No. 10 Bulldog squad that finished the season 18-6 overall and advanced to the second round of the NAIA National Championship… Earned NAIA Second-Team All-Star honors and he was named a NAIA Champion of Character… Was a standout in the classroom, earning Dean's List honors.
