Men’s Golf Preview:  at Patriot Intercollegiate

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate men's golf team tees off its fall schedule this weekend as the Spartans head to Lorton, Va. for the Patriot Intercollegiate hosted by George Mason at the par 71, 6873-yard Laurel Hill Golf Club.

USC Upstate will be sending out a five-player lineup consisting of Matt Carter, Jordan Warnock, Reid Bedell, Sun Paripunna and Hunter Fry

The Spartans are one of 15 teams competing in the two-day tournament along with George Mason, George Washington, La Salle, Rhode Island, Saint Joseph's, Bethune-Cookman, Florida Atlantic, Hampton, Lafayette, Liberty, Towson, St. John's, Wagner and West Virginia. Liberty and West Virginia will be competing as individuals only.

A shotgun start will begin the first round at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday. The second round will begin later that day immediately after players complete the first round. The third round will be played Sunday, with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
