Cartersville, Ga. – The USC Upstate cross country teams competed in the ASUN Conference Championships on Saturday morning at Sam Smith Park. The men's team finished in fourth place while the women's team scored a sixth place finish in rainy conditions.

Noteworthy

  • Three members of the women's team (Mia Davis, Kelsey Warren, Fatima Pedroza) finished with new personal bests while five men's runners (Jacob Coccia, Abraham Hernandez, Ereck Lewis, Roman Mealing, Cory Tate) posted a personal best.
  • Marcy Bradshaw led the Upstate women with a 25th place finish of 19:25.80.
  • Dorian Jones finished in 16th place with a time of 25:29.10.
  • North Florida claimed the women's team title while Lipscomb was the men's team winner.
  • North Florida's Eden Meyer defended her women's individual title as she finished in 17:03.60. Jacob Poyner of Lipscomb was the men's individual winner in 24:02.20.
