Girls ages 8-18
Cost: $60 per person, $50 if you are in a group of 8 or more

Information: Camp is limited to the first 200 registered campers.

Chris Hawkins, Camp Director

  • Head Softball Coach at USC Upstate
  • Owns a 600-274-1 career record in 17 seasons at UpstateCoached Upstate to back-to-back 40-win seasons in 2010 and 2011
  • Coached Upstate to a share of the A-Sun Regular Season Championship in 2008
  • Coached Upstate to an appearance in the championship game of the A-Sun Tournament in 2010
  • Coached Morgan Childers to 2008 A-Sun Pitcher of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors, as well as NFCA Second Team All-Region
  • Had 11 players selected all-conference in the A-Sun in the last four season
  • Had seven players named all-freshman in the A-Sun
  • Led USC Upstate to four-straight appearances in the NCAA DII Tournament and a final #16 ranking in 2005
  • Played fastpitch softball for 11 years
  • Played professional baseball for the Houston Astros
  • Has run fastpitch softball camps throughout South Carolina for the past 17 years
  • Coached numerous summer travel teams

Upstate Team Members

  • Won the 2008 A-Sun regular season championship
  • Eleven A-Sun All-Conference and seven A-Sun All-Freshman selections in four years
  • Combined for 146 wins in the last four seasons
  • Claimed back-to-back 40-win seasons in 2010 and 2011
  • Ranks 3rd among all Division I schools in academics
  • Made four straight appearances in the NCAA DII National Tournament from 2004-07
  • Won 40 or more games from 2005-07, including a single-season school record 47 in 2007
  • Reached the championship game of the 2005 NCAA DII South Atlantic Regional
