When: June 25-28, 2012
Where: Cyrill Stadium at USC Upstate
Who: Girls ages 8-18
Cost: $295 per resident camper ($310 after June 14 registration deadline...includes housing and meals), $190 per commuting camper ($205 after June 14 registration deadline...includes lunch)
$60 deposit required when registering in advance.

Camp Staff

Chris Hawkins, Camp Director

• Head Softball Coach at USC Upstate
• Has 600-plus career wins in 18 years as head coach of the Spartans
• Coached Upstate to a share of the A-Sun Regular Season Championship in 2008
• Coached Upstate to an appearance in the championship game of the A-Sun Tournament in 2010
• Coached Upstate to back-to-back 40-win seasons in 2010 and 2011, including 42 a Division I era school record 42 in 2011
• Coached Morgan Childers to 2008 A-Sun Pitcher of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors, as well as NFCA Second Team All-Region
• Had 11 players selected all-conference in the A-Sun in the last four seasons
• Had six players named all-freshman in the A-Sun
• Led USC Upstate to four-straight appearances in the NCAA DII Tournament and a final #16 ranking in 2005
• Played fastpitch softball for 11 years
• Played professional baseball for the Houston Astros
• Has run fastpitch softball camps throughout South Carolina for the past 18 years
• Coached numerous summer travel teams
