Caroline Verna

Caroline Verna is in her second season working as a student assistant coach with the women's soccer program after playing for head coach Kendall Reyes from 2006-07.
A native of Queens, N.Y., Verna was an All-Region and All-Conference selection at Braynt & Stratton College prior to transferring to Upstate for the 2006 season. A versatile player, she played as a defender and forward at Upstate. She finished her career with 12 points on five goals and two assists. She had a 73.7 percent shots on goal percentage and was 1-for-1 in penalty kick opportunities. She graduated from Francis Lewis High School in Glen Oaks, N.Y., and led her squad to the 2004 division championship.
