  • Krejci Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

    Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate senior student-athlete Nicki Krejci was named to the CoSIDA Academic-All District® 4 First Team, the College Sports Information Directors Association announced today. She is the first Upstate women’s soccer student-athlete to be named to the Academic All-District Team during the Division I era and is the second Spartan to earn Academic All-District honors, joining Thea Moen in 2001.
  • Krejci Named to ASUN All-Academic Team

    LakePoint, Ga. – USC Upstate senior forward Nicki Krejci was named to the ASUN All-Academic Team, conference officials announced this afternoon. Krejci is the third Upstate student-athlete to earn a spot on the All-Academic Team, joining two-time honoree Rachel Baylor (2015, 2016) and Sarah Plantz (2011). This is the third consecutive year that the Spartans have been represented on the ASUN All-Academic Team.
  • Honis Named to ASUN All-Freshman Team

    LakePoint, Ga. - USC Upstate forward Emma Honis has been named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team as the league announced its postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon. She is the first Upstate player to earn All-Freshman Team honors since Kate Winegarner in 2015 and is the fifth player in the Division I era to claim a spot on the team.

    Hillside, N.J. – Carly Berdan’s goal in the 68th minute gave the NJIT Highlanders a 1-0 win over USC Upstate in ASUN Conference women’s soccer action on Saturday at Kean University East Campus.
  • Spartans Conclude Regular Season Saturday at NJIT

    Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women’s soccer team will play their 17th, and final, regular season match of 2017 on Saturday afternoon as the Spartans face NJIT at 1 p.m. The match will take place at Keen University East Campus Facility. 
  • Upstate Falls in Overtime at Jacksonville

    Jacksonville, Fla. – Zoe Zinis’ goal in the 94th minute gave the Jacksonville Dolphins a 2-1 overtime victory over USC Upstate in ASUN Conference women’s soccer action on Tuesday afternoon at Southern Oak Stadium. 
  • Spartans Travel to Jacksonville for Tuesday Contest

    Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women’s soccer team will play the first of two road matches to close out the 2017 season on Tuesday as the Spartans travel to Jacksonville University to face the Dolphins at 4 p.m.
  • Lipscomb Rallies to Defeat Upstate on Senior Day

    Spartanburg, S.C. – Abbie Ellis scored a pair of goals but the Lipscomb Bisons erased a 2-1 deficit as they defeated USC Upstate 3-2 in ASUN women’s soccer action at County University Soccer Stadium on Saturday. 
  • Spartans Welcome Lipscomb on Saturday for Senior Day

    Spartanburg, S.C. – A three-match homestand for the USC Upstate women’s soccer team will conclude Saturday as the Spartans host Lipscomb at 1 p.m. Upstate will honor seniors Brooke Bailey, Tori Brown, Jade Hudson, Nicki Krejci, Emma Safranek and Ashley Wright prior to the match.

    Spartanburg, S.C. – The Stetson Hatters scored three goals in a 7 minute, 30 second first half stretch as they defeated USC Upstate 4-1 in ASUN Conference women’s soccer action on Friday night at County University Soccer Stadium. 
  • Spartans Return Home to Face Stetson, Florida Gulf Coast

    Spartanburg, S.C. – Following a seven-match road trip, the USC Upstate women’s soccer team returns to County University Soccer Stadium for a pair of games. The Spartans open the weekend with a visit from Stetson Friday at 7 p.m. followed by a 1 p.m. Sunday matchup with Florida Gulf Coast.

    LakePoint, Ga. – USC Upstate senior goalkeeper Brooke Bailey was named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced Monday afternoon. It is the first weekly award of her career.

    Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women’s soccer team will conclude an eight-match road trip this weekend as the Spartans travel to the Sunshine State to face North Florida and Jacksonville. Friday’s match begins at 7 p.m. while the Sunday contest begins at 2 p.m.

  • John Claims 100th Career Win as Spartans Defeat UNC Asheville

    Asheville, N.C. – Abbie Ellis’ penalty kick goal in the 48th minute gave the USC Upstate women’s soccer team a 1-0 win over UNC Asheville on Saturday night at Greenwood Soccer Field. Saturday’s win is the 100th career victory for head coach Tyson John.
  • Spartans to Face Pair of Big South Conference Opponents

    Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women’s soccer team will conclude its four-match stretch against Big South Conference members as the Spartans travel to UNC Asheville on Saturday and Gardner-Webb on Monday. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

    Rock Hill, S.C. – Isabella Burns scored her first goal of the season for the USC Upstate women’s soccer team but it wasn’t enough to overcome a 2-0 deficit as the Spartans lost 2-1 to Winthrop at Eagle Field on Sunday evening.
