2009-10: Played in eight tournaments as a freshman… gained valuable experience on the course… posted her best round, a 79, in the final round of the Holiday Inn Express Hatter Classic.

High School: Was an integral part of the Wade Hampton High School girls' golf team... Earned the Rookie of the Year award after her freshman campaign... Also earned the Leading Scorer Award after recording the lowest team average during her senior season... Was a two time all-region selection... Owns the school record for lowest nine-hole score in school history (37)... Was also a member of the softball and track & field teams during her prep career... Named to the academic honor roll numerous times while in high school.

Personal: Born on Sept. 4, 1991 in Greenville, S.C… daughter of Ron and Myra Clontz… has a younger brother, Perry… father, Ron, played tennis at Appalachian State.

Hobbies & Favorites: Likes jamming out on the IPod with new music… likes to eat tacos and wings… favorite movie is “The Proposal”… likes to watch “The Singing Bee” and “Ace of Cakes” on TV… Sandra Bullock is her favorite actress… favorite season is the Fall… dream job is to own her own golf course.
