Jason Rasnake is in his fourth year as an assistant women's basketball coach at USC Upstate.
He comes to Upstate after spending the previous eight seasons at N.C. State as part of the women’s basketball team. He was with the Wolfpack for a total of 11 years, serving two years as one of the program’s dedicated team managers after starting out with N.C. State as a member of the scout team.
During his time with the Wolfpack, Rasnake assisted in multiple facets of the women’s basketball program with a large focus on scouting and film breakdown. He served as the direct contact for film exchange, production of team video projects including a variety highlighted on GoPack,com, scouting tapes and video library compilations. His duties also included assisting with scout team management.
Rasnake also used his skills in social media by contributing the Wolfpack women's network by updating and creating content for the team's Facebook, Youtube and GoPack.com sites.
The Chapel Hill, N.C., native graduated from N.C. State in 2005 with a degree in communication with a concentration in communication media. He went on to marry former Wolfpack player Jennifer Filipowski in May 2009. They have two daughters, Skylar and Emma.
