Geoff del Forn is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the USC Upstate men’s soccer program.  Del Forn assists in all facets of the program.

Prior to his arrival in Spartanburg, del Forn was as an assistant coach for two seasons at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va.  He served as the recruiting coordinator and worked primarily with the goalkeepers.  During his first season at Washington and Lee, he helped lead the Generals to an overall record of 9-6-2.  The team posted a 4-5-1 mark in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and earned a berth in the conference tournament.

Prior to his coaching stint at Washington and Lee, del Forn was a member of the men’s soccer team at the University of South Carolina from 2004-08.  He graduated from South Carolina in May of 2008 with a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management.

Del Forn is married to the former Stephanie Wiltfang of Spartanburg, S.C.  The couple married on June 12, 2010 and reside in Greenville.
