Braselton, Ga. – The USC Upstate men’s golf team completed play at the 2012 A-Sun Championships Wednesday afternoon and placed two players in the top 20 on the individual leaderboard. The Spartans claimed seventh place as a team.

Sill Continues to Lead Spartans as Upstate Gets Within Striking Distance of Best-Ever Finish
Braselton, Ga. – For the second-straight day, Spartanburg native Brad Sill led the USC Upstate men’s golf team at the 2012 A-Sun Championships Tuesday, firing a 74 to remain in the top 10 on the individual leaderboard. Although Upstate slipped a position from yesterday, the Spartans are within five strokes of a fourth-place finish in the event and enter the final round in sixth place.

Piscataway, N.J. – The USC Upstate men's golf team turned in a strong final round on Saturday and opened the 2011-12 season by winning the Rutgers Invitational in dominant fashion. Gaffney's Adam Goins won medalist honors over teammate and Spartanburg native Tyler Comer in the first playoff hole to give the Spartans a sweep of the championships.
