Spartans Return to Action on Wednesday at Presbyterian College

Spartanburg, S.C. – Following a break for exams, the USC Upstate baseball team will return to the field on Wednesday afternoon as the Spartans make the short trip to Clinton, S.C. to face the Presbyterian College Blue Hose at 3 p.m. 

Upstate is 18-25 overall and 3-9 in the ASUN Conference after a doubleheader sweep against Stetson on April 22 at Harley Park. 

Presbyterian College is 23-23 after claiming a series win against Gardner-Webb last weekend. The Blue Hose travel to Davidson on Tuesday before hosting the Spartans in their final home game on Wednesday. 

The series is tied at 19-19 after the Spartans rallied from a 4-0 deficit after the seventh inning to defeat the Blue Hose 5-4 in 11 innings at Harley Park on March 22.

Upstate returns to Harley Park this weekend for an ASUN series against North Florida beginning at 6 p.m. Friday.
