Upstate and Kennesaw State Washed Out on Saturday

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate Athletic Department and head baseball coach Matt Fincher announced that Saturday's regularly scheduled baseball game between Upstate and Kennesaw State has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

Kennesaw State won games one and two to take the series, but Upstate will still enter next week's slate of games having won four of its last seven games.

Upstate will play three non-conference games next week, beginning with a Monday trip to Asheville, N.C., to face UNC Asheville from Greenwood Baseball Field. The Spartans will then go across town on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. showdown at Wofford, and finish Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at South Carolina for a game that will be televised on Fox Sports South.
