Richardson Named Primetime Performer by College Baseball 360

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After helping the Spartans pick up their third-straight conference series win, Trey Richardson (Lakeland, Fla.) has been named a primetime performer by CollegeBaseball360.com.
Richardson was one of two Spartans to tally a .429 batting average (6-14, 3 Doubles) in the series at Stetson. In the opener, the junior tallied two hits and scored what proved to be the game-winning run (in the fifth) as the Spartans downed the Hatters, 8-4, for its seventh straight league win.
Richardson finished 3-for-5 with one hit and one run in the finale as the Spartans claimed an 11-6 victory and won its third straight conference series to improve to 15-6 in league play. He committed just one error in 37 chances during the three-game set in DeLand, Fla.
