Kasper Nielsen
Kasper Nielsen was a standout player on the men's tennis team for two seasons, playing from 1994-96. He played primarily at the No. 1 singles and doubles positions throughout his career and helped lead USCS into national prominence. He earned All-America honors both seasons he played as a Rifle and finished both seasons ranked in the Top 10 individually in singles. He finished his career with a 36-22 singles record and a 31-20 doubles mark. His best season was in the Spring of 1995 when he finished with a 19-8 singles record and finished ranked 8 th individually while leading USCS to a final No. 12 national team ranking. In addition to his excellence in tennis, he was an outstanding student. He was named to the Peach Belt Conference Honor Roll both years and was a Dean's List student. He was also named a GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-District scholar. He currently lives in Concord , NC , with his wife and son.
